We are KenCrest

Now in their 111th year, they are a Lutheran Social Ministry Organization serving more than 11,000 people of all ages, from newborns to senior adults with intellectual disabilities and autism and their families in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Connecticut. Our 2,000 staff members are active in over 400 communities.

Our core values are:

  • Positive approaches
  • Caring spirit
  • Innovation
  • Reach
  • Outcomes

Our initiatives include:

  • Autism services
  • Preschool services
  • Head Start
  • Lifesharing
  • In-home services
  • Employment training
  • Community living

We were the first agency to have family-style residential homes in Pennsylvania and Delaware, the first agency to offer medical technology for children in communities. Through our energetic approach to compassionate caring we daily witness hundreds of small victories as we live out our mission to simplify and better the lives of those we touch – one person at a time, one day at a time. Our goal is to support those we serve to live with dignity as independently as possible in their own communities while earning the respect of others.
