Lutheran Charities is a network of five Lutheran Social Ministry Organizations (SMOs) located in Southeastern PA, and collaboratively working together to serve an estimated 100,000 vulnerable children, families and seniors each year, 1 in 50 people regionally.
It’s a legacy of unified Lutheran giving to ensure that Lutheran Social Ministry in our local area communities will continue to serve vulnerable populations for decades to come, thanks to the generosity of Lutherans (and other people of faith).

Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is a Social Ministry Organization operating a dozen senior living and housing communities and a range of services for children, youths, families and senior adults in Pennsylvania and Maryland, serving 63,000 people annually. <<Read more>>

Liberty Lutheran is a Social Ministry Organization that faithfully provides vital resources for individuals and families facing life-changing situations. The Liberty Family of Services includes: Artman, Liberty at Home, Lutheran Congregational Services, The Hearth at Drexel (formerly Mary J. Drexel), Paul’s Run Retirement Community and The Village at Penn State. This past year alone Liberty served more than 50,000 individuals including seniors living in retirement communities or striving to remain in their own homes and survivors of natural disasters. <<Read more>>
Lutheran Settlement House, founded in 1902 as part of the Lutheran Social Ministry Society, is a Social Ministry Organization serving the inner city’s most vulnerable children, adults and seniors.
